Life on Earth is a Test

Currently i am reading a book called "The Purpose Driven Life". It was strongly recommended by my fren, Gillian. It is a Christianity book, i dint know until i received the book from the MPH officer.

I started to read chapter by chapter. Everyday 1 chapter. THis is what the author suggested, because every end of each topic, there are questions that you need to think about, sort of like assingment =)

Currenly is in Chapter 5, and this is quite a interesting and true topic: Seeing life from God’s view".

Here are the synopsis:
Life on earth is a test.
This life metaphor is seen in stories throughout the Bible. God continually tests people’s character, faith, obedience, love, integrity, and loyalty.

Character is both developed and revealed by tests, and all of life is a test. You are always being tested. God constantly watches your response to people, problem, success, conflict, illness, disappointment, and even the weather! He even watches the simplest action such as when you open a door for others, when you pick up a piece of trash, or when you are polite toward a clerk or a waitress. You will be tested by a major changes, delayed promises, impossible problems, unanswered prayers, undeserved criticism, and even senseless tragedies.

When you understand that life is a test, you realize that nothing is insignificant in your life. Even smallest incident has significance for your character development. Every day is an important day and every second is a growth opportunity to deepen your character, to demonstrate love, or to depend on God.
