Initially we plan to go Lou Tin, my dad's fav restaurant, for our celebration. But ended up eating my mum home cooked food as all of us were so tire (pity my mum that she cooked so many dishes alone even though she was tire as well!) especially SY who rushed back from S'pore on Sat from 6am and only reached PD at 440pm. Imagine how many hrs she spent on the road???
It was a tough traveling experience for her! 1st, she had to take MRT to get a bus to reach S'pore custom. After went through s'pore customs she waited for another bus which goto M'sia custom, and catch another bus to Larkin Bus Station after that.
Since it was Agong's bday on sat and dumpling festival on sunday, bus ticket (for morning session) to sbn was sold out by the time she reached thr. The only thing she could do was purchased illegal ticket which costs rm60 and the actual price is ONLY rm25 (marked up >100% man!) in order to go KL. Sigh... wat to do?
OKok, back to the topic... as usual, mum is the chef of the day! and her cooking is fantastic! All of us enjoyed the meal to the fullest...
We feel regret for not treating dad for a dinner outside, hence we gave him an RED angpow. And i have sent a surprise greeting card to him! He will be receiving soon...
